Who to Call

Printer/Public Wyse client problem?

Contact AV

Not there?  Use the Reporting Library Systems Issues form.

Photocopier/Scanning problem?

Contact the Serials Technician

Not there?  Use the Reporting Library Systems Issues form.

USB Not Detected

If the USB has been properly formatted and the MFD still cannot detect it.

Try powering off the MFD and bringing it back up. 

Cannot Detect Size

If the item being scanned is not of a standard size the message Cannot Detect Size may come up when the patron tries to scan.

  1. Press Scan Settings.
  2. Press Scan Size tab.
  3. Choose an appropriate paper size (e.g. 8.5 x 11 will work for items smaller than 8.5 x 11).
  4. Press OK.
  5. Press Start.

Public MFDs

Scanning is available to the public on theMFDs at no cost and a Papercut account is not required but a card is required.

Note: For Guests they will need to use one of the Guest Copy cards in order to access scanning.

Maximum 50 pages of scanning per file.  

Patron Scanning Options
Student To USB or to KPU email.
Employee To USB, personal drive or to KPU email.
Visitors To personal USB only.
