Follow these procedures for Co-op or Student Assistant Papercut access (Departmental cards).
- Confirm in Banner that they are listed as Employee Y Student Asst/Coop.
- Create a Student Assistant or IT Co-op card in OneCard.
- In Papercut Admin in the Quick Find field type the Student Assistant's first name/last name and a list of all the people with that name will come up.
Note: Do not search by Banner ID.
- Click on the entry that is listed with a Username e.g. tjones, press Enter.
Note: Do not select the account that has their Banner ID e.g 100100100. If only a Banner ID account comes up then they have not been granted Departmental printing/copying privileges. The card cannot be linked in Papercut.
- In the User Details window, check to make sure the correct username record has come up.
- Ensure that the Print account selection field reads Automatically charge to a single shared account and that the Charge to account field includes a departmental code.
Note: If the Print account selection field reads Automatically Charge to a Personal Account follow these procedures.
- Scroll down to the Card/Identity Number section.
- Place the cursor in the Secondary field.
- Tap the card on the Wave ID reader. The card is automatically linked and is ready for use.
- Click on the x next to the Quick Find field to remove the previous search.
- These cards do not have Library borrowing privileges. Do not link card in Workflows. Student Assistants and IT Co-op Students who are currently registered, will use their Student card to borrow.
