ZTC Ready (Embedding Library Resources in Moodle): ARTStor Images

Linking to Images in ARTstor

  1. Connect to the database from our main database menu.
  2. From your result list, highlight the desired image.
  3. From the top tool bar, select 'Share' and select 'Generate image URL' from the drop down.
  4. A popup box will appear containing the link. The persistent link will look something like this:
    http://library.artstor.org/library/secure/ViewImages?id=8jNTaD4kJDgpQSs8ej16QQ%3D%3D&userId=hT1PdjM%3D&zoomparams
  5. It is essential that you add our proxy server prefix to ensure access to the article from off campus. Add the following prefix to the persistent link URL: https://ezproxy.kpu.ca:2443/login?url=
  6. Your complete URL will look like this:https://ezproxy.kpu.ca:2443/login?url=http://library.artstor.org/library/secure/ViewImages?id=8DdCZTUrOjorQi85eT98RXQoVHg%3D&userId=hT1PdjM%3D&zoomparams=

  1. Connect to the database from our main database menu.
  2. From your result list, highlight the desired image.
  3. From the results list, select the desired image.
  4. From the top right bar, click on LINK.
  5. The URL will display in the box for you to grab. The persistent link will look something like this:
  6. http://library.artstor.org/library/secure/ViewImages?id=8jNTaD4kJDgpQSs8ej16QQ%3D%3D&userId=hT1PdjM%3D&zoomparams
