Linking to Articles in ACM Digital Library

  1. Connect to the database from our main database menu.
  2. Perform your search and click on the title of the article you want to link to display the citation.
  3. Select the DOI number.
  4. Copy the URL from the address link. The link will look something like this: http://dl.acm.org/citation.cfm?doid=2157136.2157267
  5. To ensure access to the article from off campus, add the following prefix to the persistent link URL: http://ezproxy.kwantlen.ca:2048/login?url=
  6. The finished URL will look like this:https://ezproxy.kpu.ca:2443/login?url=http://dl.acm.org/citation.cfm?doid=2157136.2157267. Copy and paste it into your Moodle site and rename the link the title of the article.
