This guide lists key sources of Canadian and international statistics, and some tools for working with statistics.

Here are a few major sources of statistics. Please see the tabs on the left of the guide for many more.

Statista This link opens in a new window
A statistics portal that integrates data on over 60,000 topics from over 18,000 sources. It contains statistics, reports on industries, markets, surveys, toplists, and infographics.

Statistics Canada
Statistics Canada collects and publishes statistics on all sorts of socio-economic topics. It is the most trustworthy source of Canadian demographic data. Click on the 'Canada', 'Census' and 'Statcan Data Tables' tabs on the left for more info on Statcan sources.
BC Stats
BC Stats publishes tables and articles related to the province's population and business.
Metro Vancouver Regional Data and Statistics
Statistics and reports on many regional issues, including housing, planning, agriculture, transportation, environment, and more.

Search or browse for statistics (not raw data) on a wide range of topics from various publications and websites.
