The Census of Population is the most widely-used and trusted source of Canadian demographic data.
Your best place to start for all Census-related info, with links to tools you can use to explore the data.
View and export data from the 2021 Census for a specific community. Search by place name or postal code to identify area of interest. Smallest area is the Dissemination Area: a few square blocks.

Annual data from income tax returns is availble both from the Canada Revenue Agency and Statistics Canada.
