Student Laptop Loans: Information for Summer Semester and Reminder to Return

The KPU Library Laptop Loan program will be back for Summer semester. Below are the details on how to submit a request to borrow a laptop.

On May 9 at 9am (PST), we will re-open the Laptop Request Form on the page, Student Laptop Loans. You can only submit a request using this form. Laptops will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Once there are no laptops available, a "Laptop Waitlist" button will be available so you can add your name to a waitlist.

If your request is successful, you will receive a notice by email with instructions on how to pick it up.

In order to place a request for a laptop, you must have:

• A valid KPU card barcode number. This is a number on your physical KPU Card below the barcode (pictured), not your student number. If you do not have KPU Card, arrange to have it created so you have it ready. KPU Card creation can take a few days, so plan ahead! Apply for your KPU Card here. 
• Current, local contact information in Online Self-Service (accessible from one.kpu.ca, search 'oss'). 

This service is only available to KPU students registered in Summer 2022 semester. 

If you borrowed a laptop during Spring 2022 semester, the due date to return the laptop is by April 26, 2022. Please ensure you return the laptop directly to our Equipment & Media Service Counters in our libraries (not the book drops) during our hours of operation.
