Teaching, scholarship, and research activities produce a variety of outputs that deserve to be preserved. But where should you store your publications, student theses, or research datasets? Join us for an overview of repository options for housing and showcasing your work.
KORA (Kwantlen Open Resource Access) is KPU’s institutional repository for collecting, preserving, and providing free online access to scholarly and creative materials created by the Kwantlen community. Faculty, staff, and students alike can make their work available in KORA.
For researchers, data sharing and deposit is increasingly expected by funders and publishers. What is KPU doing to support researchers in meeting these requirements? Where can you safely store your data? Do you have to make it openly available? Get the answers to these and other questions about data repositories and the ecosystem of data sharing in Canada.
Please join us for an information lunch and learn on November 24th, 12:00-12:30pm!
For more information, please contact Melissa Smith, Student Success Librarian (melissa.smith3@kpu.ca) or Melissa Cuthill, Research Data Management Strategy Librarian (melissa.cuthill@kpu.ca).
