Chicago Citation Style: Reports, proceedings, theses

General notes

  • Reports, pamphlets, brochures, contracts etc.: Treat like a book, giving as much information as available
  • Proceedings published in a book: Treat like a chapter in a book
  • Proceedings published in a journal: Treat like an article
  • Theses, dissertations, working papers: Put the title in quotation marks, otherwise treat like a book
