The "Virtual Museum" contains more than a dozen peopled scenes from the 1400s to the 1900s, and it highlights the lace-centric textiles in each scene.

The University of Leeds International Textiles Archive (ULITA) "collects, preserves and documents textiles and other related design material from most of the major textile producing areas of the world". Established in the nineteenth century, the collections in the archive range from Sample pattern books to Qing Dynasty textiles, and include the Sadler shawl collection and the Egyptian collection.
