My area of expertise is bibliographic description and authority control. I have 35 years experience in the field and deliver training to Canadian cataloguers in content standards, subject analysis, classification and name authorities management. My mission is to champion the development of library catalogues so that they leverage all of the rich metadata that is contained in our catalogue records to support both general and precise retrieval needs.
