KPU Library: KPU Reads

Current news and events for KPU Library

KPU Reads

This year we're doing it a little bit different.

In the past, KPU Reads has invited the KPU community to come together and read and discuss one book. This year, we're going online and asking you, those who learn, work, and gather at KPU: What are you reading this summer?

Join KPU Library and the Faculty of Arts for a summer of book recommendations and discussion. Use #KPUReads and #KPUKeepsConnected on Twitter and let your community know what books you're reading and what you think about it. Let's start a conversation! We'll also keep a running list of titles here on this site.

What book has you up thinking at night? What book has you questioning what you thought you knew? What books are making you laugh? What books are making these isolating times more bearable? What book has changed the direction of your research? What book has informed how you teach?

Fiction or non-fiction; academic or leisure reading, we welcome all recommendations and book chatter and may even feature you on our website. We'll be sharing your reads throughout the summer, so follow us on Twitter @KPULibrary.

You can also email your recommendation to Kelsey Chaban, Student Engagement & Community Outreach Librarian.

Use the drop down menu above navigation buttons to explore nonfiction, fiction, children's and featured reads. Check this space often to learn about new titles and add to your summer reading list.

We can't wait to see what you're reading. Let's talk about books!
