National Indigenous Peoples Day

National Indigenous Peoples Day

June is National Indigenous History Month and June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day. June is a time where we celebrate Indigenous voices and culture, recognize Indigenous traditions and history, and acknowledge the truths of the Indigenous experience in Canada.

Read Indigenous voices at KPU Library! This guide is a way to connect with material at KPU Library; We encourage you to seek out Indigenous authors and artists not only in June but throughout the year. Clicking on each cover image will take you to the catalogue so you can learn more, place a hold, and borrow on each item.

Want to browse the collection? Each campus library has a χʷəχʷéy̓əm Indigenous Collection for you to browse and borrow, as well as a seating area for your use. Learn more about the χʷəχʷéy̓əm Indigenous Collection at Indigenization at KPU Library
