Indigenous Studies

Indigenous Studies is an interdisciplinary field grounded in the languages, histories, geographies, and contemporary experiences of Indigenous peoples

Not sure which journal to use? Need magazine articles, newspapers, and other content? Try a database. Our Research database page offers you access to online databases. Indigenous Studies does not have one dedicated database but the following are good choices:

Not all the articles are full-text.  To only search full-text articles, select the "full-text" search option in your database.

If the database just provides an abstract the "Where can I get this" link lets you know where the full-text of an article is available. You may find full-text online through another library database, in print at KPU, or via interlibrary loan by making an interlibrary loan request.
