If they have used the USB stick here before?
If they've used their USB at KPU before, and the MFD is still not detecting it, try powering off the MFD and turning it back on.
You'll need to tell user where the Power button is located on the MFD. This usually takes a few minutes. Once powered OFF, have the user power back on and try scanning again.
