Psychiatry Online has the full-text of the most current version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5 TR) - the manual used by health care professionals to diagnose people with mental illnesses.

Searching the DSM: The DSM is only one part of this larger database, so if you haven't searched the DSM online before, you'll want to watch this video so you can just find content from the DSM in your keyword search.

Find a links to the DSM books in the library below. They are in descending order, from newest to oldest.

See below examples of how to cite

  • the entire DSM
  • a specific entry/section within the DSM-5 TR (in this case, the Anxiety Disorders section)

If you are citing the print book version of the DSM-5 TR, do not include the doi URL at the end.
