KPU Library COVID-19 Response

KPU Library Response to COVID-19

At this time the KPU Library remains open but only for computer use and as a study space. We are limiting access to our libraries to ensure we meet the capacity and social distancing measures required to help limit the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

We are not providing any in-person public services which means:

You cannot borrow any physical items from the library including reserves, AV equipment and books

The Library will not be issuing any new KPU cards

The due date for all material currently on loan has been extended to April 30, 2020 at the earliest. Material cannot be returned until public services resume.

KPU Cards: We will not be issuing KPU cards.

Access our collections: Off site access is in place for databases, online journals, streaming videos and e-books - all searchable from the search box on the front page at https://www.kpu.ca/library.

We are still there to help: if you self isolate and remain off campus, you can still contact us via email, text and AskAway chat reference service (look left!). All these access points can be found on our Ask Us page. If we've forgot something, let us know!

Hours: Be sure to check the Library Hours (https://www.kpu.ca/library/hours) for the most up to date info. Because of the current health situation, we do ask those that come in person to the library to follow hygiene recommendations to protect your health, and the health of other students around you.

We hope everyone stays safe and healthy during this time.
