ZTC Ready (Embedding Library Resources in Moodle)

Linking to Article in Proquest Databases

With Proquest databases, in most cases you will only be able to link to the article abstract. Users will need to click on the full-text option.

  1. Connect to one of the Proquest databases from our main database menu.
  2. Find the article in the database and click on the abstract/detail tab.
  3. On the abstract/citation screen you will see Document URL as you scroll the detailed record; this is the URL you will need to copy.
  4. Shift to your Moodle site and create the link to your article using the Document URL you just created.

Example
This link points to an article in the Criminal Justice Periodicals database with the title Criminal groups and transnational illegal markets from the journal Crime, Law and Social Change.

Criminal Groups and Transnational Illegal Markets

**Our Proxy server address is already imbedded in the link so your students will have access off campus.**
